Elegy for Automata will be a science-fiction anthology containing short stories, poems, and other additional features set in the same universe. The cover art represents remnants of the digital drawings I composed for the early interactive story, which is the basis for the first short tale in the anthology, The Automaton. I repurposed this work, revitalizing what had been discarded, and created a cover that thematically depicts important elements of the story. A preview of Part 1 is available under the Creative Writing section of my website.
The back cover description is as follows:
When Telegraph Engineer Berenice Turner is commanded to escort an old automaton to unfamiliar coordinates, she discovers a revelatory truth that will forever change her perception of the war, her role, and the nature of autonomy itself.
